  • EMPLOYMENT

    Students are paid to work 15 hours/week at a CYW-affiliated employer for 10 weeks over the summer.

  • ENRICHMENT & FIELD TRIPS

    Students engage in enrichment activities (e.g., mindfulness training and prevention education) and field trips two days a week.

  • MENTORSHIP

    Students’ employers are more than their supervisor, they provide mentorship and a safe environment to learn more than just work skills.

The Comstock Youth Works program empowers teens in Northern Nevada by providing essential support for developing life and job skills.

This comprehensive initiative equips young individuals with valuable tools for personal growth and offers opportunities for hands-on experience through summer job internships. Participants engage in various activities designed to enhance their employability, foster independence, and prepare them for future success in the workforce.
