IV. Next Meeting

Beginning with the Thurs.Oct.12, 2023 HCC meeting, the gathering will be in-person at the Silver Springs Community Center instead of by Zoom. The meeting will include a light breakfast. Will continue with meeting every other month.

Three speakers from Capital City CIRCLES Initiative including Linda Flaherty (Project Director), JD Powers (Program Coach) and Denise Hecht-Mack (Executive Director). Mission: ?The Capital City C.I.R.C.L.E.S. Initiative facilitates change and challenges self-limiting beliefs by Connecting Individuals to Resources that Change Lives and Enable Success. We envision a community working together to empower individuals moving towards a life of sustainability and abundance. Any individual or family willing to take responsibility for improving their lives has ready access to C.I.R.C.L.E.S.? mentors, peer support, staff, and case management.?

Sabrina Peck of HCC, with staff from Carson City Health and Human Services, explained the benefits of creating clean air policies with the business community and in healthcare and other settings.
