Michele Watkins received her Bachelor?s and Master?s degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada Reno. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has provided school and community-based prevention, intervention, counseling, and behavioral health services for over 34 years in rural Nevada. She is on the clinical team at Community Chest and provides supervision for the clinical social work interns. With her passion in school social work, Michele currently works as a Safe Schools Professional at Dayton Intermediate School offering school-based social work services, including mental health therapy. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
