An outstanding service and training opportunity is being offered in Dayton, Nevada. A VISTA AmeriCorps member with a dedication to teamwork is needed to help increase access to food, thereby improving food security and wellness in the community.

Duties may include collaboration with farmers, research of best practices for inclusive food systems, coordination and recruitment of volunteers.

Throughout your service, you’ll receive ongoing training to help make your experience successful.

The living allowance for VISTA service members for 2022 is $675 every two weeks. Those who successfully complete a year of service in the VISTA program will be eligible to receive the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $6895.
