There will be a “Stuff the Bus” food drive for Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey Counties’ Yerington Food Pantry beginning November 1 and lasting until November 19, 2021. People may drop off nonperishable food donations after school from 2:15pm-3pm Monday through Friday, or they may bring food to the schools and it will be taken to the bus. The Yerington Food Pantry serves hundreds of individuals weekly. For instance, during the last week of October 2021, the Pantry reached 637 people.
