Dayton, Nevada – A Fall Harvest Golf Tournament (“Drive Out Hunger”) with breakfast and lunch takes place on Saturday, October 19th at the Dayton Valley Golf Course. The event, hosted by Js’ Bistro and the golf course, will raise funds for Healthy Communities’ Dayton Food Pantry. Play a round, sponsor a hole, cheer your friends on all while bringing nourishment for your friends and neighbors in need.
The day begins at 9:30am. Enter as a single player ($120) or as a 4-person team. You’ll enjoy a light breakfast buffet, delicious lunch, and receive a tournament hat! Or, if you don’t play but would like to help, sponsor a hole for $150 – email logos to Wendy at roots@healthycomm.org.
What Does the Dayton Food Pantry Do? During 2018-2019, the Dayton Food Pantry served 1,121 unique individuals and distributed nearly half a million pounds of food.
