AmeriCorps Works!

Healthy Communities Coalition is so grateful for all the hard work our ten AmeriCorps  and VISTA members accomplish in towns throughout Lyon County! HCC executive director Wendy Madson writes, “Our Americorps members are embedded in our community, from school gardens to food pantries, human services, libraries and senior centers. Relationships and partnerships are being built to ensure a meaningful and legitimate connection within our neighborhoods for both young and old. Their gestures of support and connection bring out the good and show what wonderful things our county has to offer. We are very grateful for their efforts!”
