Dayton, Nevada – Join volunteers from the Dayton Food Pantry and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday, November 18th from 10am-4pm in the goal to stuff a police car completely full of nonperishable food to help our friends and neighbors.

The food will be distributed through Healthy Communities Coalition’s Dayton Food Pantry, which usually sees a spike in need during the winter months.

Suggested items include canned green beans, corn, peas, sweet potatoes, gravy, and cranberry; canned fruits and soups; dried cereals such as instant oatmeal; pasta; dried or canned beans; rice; etc.
