Dayton, Nevada– Healthy Communities Coalition’s Dayton Food Pantry is hoping for lots of turkey donations this week. Their goal is 300 turkeys by November 16th.
Food Pantry Director Alie Trier said donors have been making the best of grocery store Thanksgiving specials on turkeys. So far they’ve collected about 60 turkeys, but need quite a few more in order to get a turkey to each family in need in the community.
She noted, “We are grateful for every donation. This is such a generous community.”
The Pantry is located at 209 Dayton Valley Road and is open Mon-Thurs from 10am to 4pm.
