Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey Counties’ (HCC) monthly breakfast meeting takes place on Thursday, November 9th at the Silver Springs Community Center at 9am.

Join us for a breakfast, networking with representatives from diverse local, state, federal and tribal groups, and updates about collaborative initiatives to increase access to affordable, local food and health care, and to strengthen community-based development.

We’ll have an announcement about one of HCC’s newest opportunities for on- the- job training and meaningful volunteer work, Community Roots and Shoots.

And we’ll introduce some of our new AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA members who are serving in communities across Lyon County.
