Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey Counties does not meet during July each year. Meetings resume as normal in August on Thursday, August 10th, 2017 at 9am.

In the meanwhile, check out our volunteer-powered food pantries in Yerington, Dayton, and Silver Springs (volunteers welcomed!); the Dayton Wellness Warriors good nutrition and weight loss/maintenance weekly support group (everyone welcomed); our monthly healthy cooking class with dietitian Kim Mason; our self-sustaining nonprofit garden nursery (Community Roots);  community gardens; and the free children’s summer STEAM program in Silver City (STEM + art= STEAM). And there are lots of ways you can help support the school gardens and hoop houses throughout Lyon County too. Ask us how at 246-7550 – we’d love to hear from you!
