Did you know there’s a very helpful FREE online service for Nevada residents ages 18 and older called the Nevada Tobacco Quitline ( 1-800-784-8669)? This service offers an array of helpful support as you become free of tobacco. It is open seven days a week, Monday – Sunday from 4 a.m. – 10 p.m.
When you become a member, you get special tools, a support team of coaches, research-based information, and a community of others trying to become tobacco free. The program’s expert coaches can talk to you about overcoming common barriers, such as dealing with stress, fighting cravings, coping with irritability, and controlling weight gain. Quitting tobacco is a process. Whether you are thinking about quitting, are not yet ready to quit, or have already quit, the Nevada Quitline can help you with each step of the way.
