Position Description: Do you want to make a difference in children’s lives? Check out the positions opening up with Healthy Communities, a regional, private nonprofit. There will be openings for one Resource Coordinator in each of the following towns: Yerington, Dayton, Silver Springs, and Fernley.

Resource Coordinators will work with community partners, schools, and students to support families and kids so that everyone has the opportunity to thrive. These are full time positions with a salary of $31,400. Benefits include vacation, insurance stipend, and sick time.

Skills requested: loving, professional, self-starter, willing to move between government, work, school, student, and community cultures, MUST love people and children, be willing to learn, and be willing to “meet people where they are.”

Community members preferred.

Resource Coordinators will be part of a rapidly developing regional Health Services Hub, a network that includes health promotion, prevention and cost-effective service delivery. Many groups and individuals, working together strategically, are expanding access to dental, medical, vision and behavioral health care and wellness education in rural Lyon and Storey Counties. Parts of the Hub are funded through a federal Safe Schools Healthy Students grant.
